Vacation Bible School
Grace Baptist Church welcomes you to join us this year for Vacation Bible School. This year's theme is "Bug Zone: Transformed by our BIG God".
VBS activities include puppet shows, Bible study, games, crafts, and more It begins the week of June 18th through the 22nd and starts at 7:00PM. Ages 3-13 are welcome to attend.

Grace Baptist Church Vacation Bible School creats an opportunity for young children to be born again or grow spiritually.
Each year our Vacation Bible School (VBS) has a unique theme. This year's theme was the racing theme: "Rev it Up, Full Throttle for God".
VBS offers many activities for the children to be educated in God's word and have a little fun in the process! Throughout this page you'll find
some examples of what Grace Baptist Church Vacation Bible School has to offer.
Every year VBS has dedicated time for Bible lessons. The lessons teach the children important historic, Biblical facts and events that are vital in building
the foundation of faith and salvation. Children are broken up into three age groups in order to get the appropriate material that is best suited for their age and understanding.
The lessons are often interactive and give the children opportunity to be actively involved. In each class a verse is given to the children to memorize for the next night. A well memorized verse can earn you points at the VBS Store
Craft time! The craft of the night is based off of the VBS theme for the year. Some projects from the past year included creating their own Pit Pass, creating redeemable chore tickets for parents to cash in for when they might need that break from folding laundry, painting your own toy car, and many more! Children are encouraged to be as creative as possible!
Nightly games are also a part of Vacation Bible School. This allows the children to release some energy. As with the other activities the games are geared
towared the VBS theme for the year. Children can expect to participate in relay-race style events, obstacle cources, and our annual Friday evening
water balloon activites!
Each year VBS integrates the theme into a nightly puppet show that allows the children to learn biblical moral principles and how to apply them in their daily lives.
In order to encourage the children to be active in VBS they can earn points for their involvement. The kids can earn points for attendance, participation, and verse memorization just to name a few. At the end of the week the children can use their points purchase prizes from the VBS Store.
